What can I say… As you know, I am rarely stuck for words (!) but when It came to writing this, I was, as there is so much I want to say and thank you for. I don’t know where to start.
Lisa, You truly made our dreams come true.
We can never, ever thank you enough. We have never come across a more professional and organised person in our lives and would highly recommend you and Amore Weddings to anyone considering getting married in Italy.
You took away all of the stress and literally held our hands the whole way through. You pre-empted everything we thought of at every stage and we loved working with you (well, we say working, I mean stalking!!) When you suggested the Palazzo in Santa Maria and said that you were sure it would be perfect for us, you were so right. We honestly can not think of anywhere else in the world that we would have preferred for our Wedding Day.
From the romantic BBQ on the beach the night before, to the Wedding Day at the Palazzo, the Breath-taking setting, the stunning flowers, delicious cake, divine food, beautiful aperitif area, romantic marquee, and fun photographers, it was EXACTLY what we had wanted and so much more.
Every few minutes, we got another lovely surprise, we have never, ever seen a wedding as beautiful and it is all down to you. We are totally in love with The Palazzo and have already planned go back for our first anniversary!
People say that your Wedding Day is the most special day of your life and having had ours, we now know that is true. All of our family and friends are still talking about our Wedding and how unbelievably beautiful it was. It was a magical day and one we will never forget. We just wish we could do it all again as we loved every single minute.
I can’t believe it’s over and I also can’t believe that I won’t be able to phone you every day for chats (Lucky you!). I need to find an excuse!

On behalf of myself and Sean we would like to thank you and your team for our beautiful wedding in Italy.
It was our dream come true and more. Everything was perfect from the pretty town of Santa Maria di Castellabate to the gorgeous weather and the beautiful Palazzo. Our family and friends fell in love with the place also and we are still talking about it and will be id say for a long time to come, what lovely memories we made there. Also the people we met there were so lovely, from the staff at the palazzo who could not do enough for us.
Fr Don Carlos who put us at ease straight away with his warm personality and sense of humor, he was very sweet and kind to us. We are so delighted with the pictures of our wedding day they are just stunning, they captured all our radiance and happiness of us and our family and guests on that day and the wonderful scenery, we will treasure these for all our lives.!
Also Nikki was very helpful with everything we needed on the day and for our stay. I could go on and on it was an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend it to any couple who want a romantic wedding in beautiful Italy.
Thank you so much for bringing us to Santa Maria di Castellabate, we hope to return again some day in the near future.

 Dear Lisa and staff,
Where do we begin to start when describing our perfect wedding day in Santa Maria Di Castellabate.
Well, for starters the location, absolutely picture perfect! We could not have asked for better. Our guests could not believe that we had chosen it from a dvd- but they were all blown away by how beautiful it was when they arrived.
Everything about the next few days was just amazing. We had our civil ceremony on the grounds of the palazzo where we also had the reception.
The ceremony location looked straight out over the sea with views right up and down the stunning Italian coastline. It looked like a scene from a movie; words cannot describe how magical it was!!
The whole day went off without a single bump in the road from the flowers to the music, the food and wine, Walter and his rat pack band, to the dj at the end of the night!
All of this, it has to be said is down to Lisa and the amazing work she put in to help organise our fantastic day, she was ably helped by the staff in the palazzo, whom went out of their way to make everything just right.
We had an absolutely amazing day!!!!!
Ourselves and many others who were there are already talking about going back next year!
We almost forgot the photos and dvd - WOW is the only word for them, we love them so much. Everyone has complemented us on them since we got back from honeymoon. They are a fitting tribute to a truly amazing day!
We can’t thank Lisa and all at Amore Weddings enough for helping to make our day so memorable.

We cannot thank you enough, and your team at Amore Weddings, for all the planning and hard work to give us our magical, dream wedding in Santa Maria di Castellabate. Right from the first time we met you we instinctively knew our big day was in safe hands; the professionalism with which you approached every aspect of our celebrations put our minds at rest straight away. As for the location, it really was the stuff of dreams - words can hardly describe the spectacular view from the old town of Castellabate, the enchanting elegance of the church and the winding cobbled streets of the town perched high above Santa Maria.
 The reception venue itself was like something out of a fairytale in the fabulous grounds of the Palazzo with the lavish decorations and flowers in the marquee, down to the lanterns hanging from the surrounding trees – everything was picture perfect. We all, our guest included, had the time of our lives during our stay in Santa Maria.
Niki was such a godsend and I cannot thank her enough for her calming influence and her efforts to make sure everything on our wedding day went off without a single hitch. Not even a thunderstorm during the disco could dampen our spirits as we ran outside and danced in the rain to cool down.
There were so many others who made our Italian Wedding a huge success but I want to give a special mention to a couple: the photographers who were mad as hatters but who have given us the most fantastic photographs and DVD that captured the special memories of our big day; and secondly to Franco, a true gentleman, and his staff who fed us beautiful lunches every day in his beach restaurant and who dished up a delicious BBQ for our post-wedding party.
We could go on and on about Santa Maria di Castellabate and how its old world charm, romance and modest beauty makes it such a special place, but to see is to believe. Thank you, Lisa, from the bottom of our hearts for giving us our dream wedding and a holiday that we will never forget!

I wanted to email you to say thank you so so so much for all your help over the last year and a half. It truly was the most amazing day of my life, we both had such a fantastic time, everything was perfect. Your Italian Crew - was fantastic and a pleasure to deal with, so helpful the week of the wedding. I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Fr John- he gave such a lovely mass, so many guests commented on how nice he was and how personal he made the service. He is lovely.
Photographer and the videographer. All I can say about the photos and DVD are wow wow wow! We got back from honeymoon last Wednesday and our best man had taken the photos and dvd back from Sorrento. I couldn’t wait to see them and they were more amazing than I ever thought. He is a genius! What he captured on camera was fantastic. He brought myself and Anthony to Positano on the way back from the church and took such amazing photos. My mum and dad saw the photos and the DVD last week and were amazed- Mum can’t stop watching the dvd! The hotel and Staff were absolutely fantastic to deal with.
From the moment we got there to when we left we were treated wonderfully and Crew was so helpful the week of the wedding, nothing was a problem. I would most definitely recommend this hotel. The reception itself went fantastic, food wine and cake were gorgeous. The band- absolutely brilliant. The lead singer has such an amazing voice and lots of guests commented on how good they were.
I could talk forever about our wedding Lisa. It really was a fairytale day and I want to on behalf of myself and Anthony thank you most sincerely for everything you did in helping our wedding day be so fantastic. Every little detail added to such a wonderful day.
Our guests had an amazing time, so many have fallen in love with Sorrento and Italy and have said they are going to be returning! Many of our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

We can’t thank you enough for making most special day in our lives absolutely perfect, no it was more then perfect and much, much more then I ever dreamed of. I can honestly say that the best wedding I was ever was my own!

The church was just beautiful, the Hotel & Staff were fantastic, the photographers were just the best and we are so happy with the photos. The BBQ was also fantastic we even had surprise fireworks to top it all off. The hairdresser was so good and so nice, our flowers were beautiful and the Band was unreal. She sang our songs so perfect.
I could just write a book here now so I’ll stop, can’t wait to go back already for our anniversary and stay in the Hotel.

 Dear Amore Weddings:
I first rang Lisa as we wanted to marry in Italy but not in a busy spot where there are lots of weddings and nothing new.
I explained to Lisa and she told me that she thought she would have something that we were looking for. We settled on Santa Maria de Castellabate, a village in the Cilento Coast. I could find no information in guidebooks of this village but I was not to be disappointed. From the second we arrived there we thought it was fantastic. The beaches are the best we have seen anywhere in the world like a warm bath. We stayed in a local villa that fit all our guests (14 of us in total). The villa was out of this world and had every convenience and luxury you could want.
We were so happy when we saw the church venue – the views were spectacular – totally amazing like nothing I have seen before and to be getting married there was a dream come true. The ceremony was fabulous and the choir great and the priest really friendly and warm. Throughout the photographers were there and they were fantastic and we were delighted with the album we got from them.
Our reception was held in Palazzo in Santa Maria di Castellabate. It is truly gorgeous, we had photos on the beach, a drinks reception and then dinner. None of our guests or us could fault one single thing of the meal or the whole day. The ambience was amazing. And the amount we paid was a portion of what you would pay in Ireland for the equivalent. Honestly I wish I could do the day and week all over again. I tell all my friends how much I recommend it. I so hope to visit that part of Italy again – all our guests were delighted with the village and everything about our wedding as it was so relaxed and enjoyable.
The weather was of course beautiful throughout the day and all of the week and it is fantastic looking at my photos and seeing the blue sky we can nearly feel the heat!

 Dear Lisa/Amore Weddings:
I have to say from the moment we arrived in Santa Maria one day was better than the next .We had a lot put on for our guests once the most of them arrived on the Wednesday the pre Wedding buffet was so lovely .We were so thrilled with the way they had the whole area lit by candles it was so enchanting the food was lovely and the atmosphere was great the perfect way to calm all the nerves for the day before!
As for the wedding day as one guest said to us "wow fab glam " !! It was out of this world loved the church absolutely loved Fr.Charles we all wanted to take him home !
La Piazzetta was gorgeous after the ceremony for prossecco followed by the Palazzo. All everybody said was they felt as though they were on the set of a movie and what was next! The staff at the Palazzo were terrific the waiters were like an army of soldiers and it went down very well with the ladies that they were all served first the food was amazing and the wine of course but I think the cake came out the winner it was the most beautiful and best tasting cake I ever had loved it.
Niki was also so fantastic I'd say there is nothing this woman would not do for you some of our guests were staying a bit out and could not get a taxi she was so kind to offer to get her son to collect them from the Palazzo at 3am they would not hear of it but I just thought how kind it was of her to offer.
I could go on and on about the day but don't want to bore you all I can say is well done to you for finding such a hidden gem and hopefully it wont get too commercialized in Santa Maria in the coming years it is a rare find so beautiful and will forever be special to myself and Eoghan.

From our very first meeting to the big day without your expertise I could not have had the wedding I wanted. All I knew when we met was I wanted to get married in Italy!
It was through your guidance and ideas that our day was very special. Santa Maria di Castellabate is a beautiful place and our guests loved it there so much that many are already planning to return! The close proximity of the hotels meant it was easy for our guests to all meet up.
The pre wedding party was a feast and the location was perfect. The hotel for the wedding was gorgeous and everything from the food, service, band were better than I ever could have imagined. A special mention has to be made about the most beautifully decorated reception room I have ever seen. My guests are still talking about the stunning flowers on the tables.
Also thanks to your help we had our honeymoon in the wonderful Furore. It truly was an ideal honeymoon place. The hotel was amazing and their attention to detail was a once in a lifetime experience.

Thank you so much for what can only be described as the best day of our lives.
We had an amazing experience from the moment we touched down in Naples airport, right through to when we were leaving the fabulous resort of Santa Maria di Castellabate, in Italy.
The Hotel in Santa Maria was a perfect venue for our wedding of 52 guests, with spectacular views and excellent service from all of the staff. Each of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay in the Hotel and most are planning to revisit in the coming years. The town itself was very quaint, with great amenities and lovely restaurants.
 As it was also family friendly, our guests with young children were well catered for. Niki was extremely helpful during our time there and visited us numerous times on the run up to the big day. The flowers on the day were absolutely beautiful and well exceeded our expectations. All of the other suppliers were extremely professional and helpful, to include the hairdressers/make up artists etc.
The terrace where we requested our reception was decorated beautifully and really took our breath away. We wouldn’t change a single thing about our day, except for it to never have ended!
Finally, we were blown away by the quality of both the photographs and DVD, as they really captured the true atmosphere of the day.
Overall the service of Amore Weddings was professional and personal, and as a result, a number of our friends who attended the wedding are seriously considering getting married abroad.
Thank you again for all of your help, we are still reliving the event and look forward to revisiting Santa Maria for our first anniversary.

First things first a huge thank you to you all for making our wedding day absolutely perfect - you made all our dreams come true.
From the minute we landed in Naples people were speaking about how well organized the wedding was, the transfers and the host we had Raphael were great and everything flowed like clockwork. When we arrived at the hotel, all the staff could not do enough to help not only us but all our guests they were just fantastic throughout the entire stay.
The day itself was amazing, again everything running so smoothly - my friends saying it was the most relaxed wedding they had ever witnessed.
Everything we asked for had been taken on board - my yellow rose theme was carried out throughout the whole hotel - on bar tables and reception, the flowers were all stunning.
All the reviews had read about the photographer/videographer being brilliant - we can only stand by these comments 100%, they really made us feel comfortable and were snapping when we were unaware as well as the traditional posing! Hair & Make up turned out beautifully. The church...what can we say, it was indescribable.
The setting itself is idyllic but added to this was the bells ringing on my arrival, the amazing voices of the choir, the wonderful sermon Fr. Charles gave - the whole scene brought tears to most of the guests eyes. The reception was brilliant - food was all delicious & the cake was definitely given the wow factor!
Finally the music & DJ really got the crowd going to what was a party to remember!
I could go on and on....we would never have found the perfect venue for the perfect wedding without your help. I will always think and speak highly of you all,

 I just wanted to thank you so much for organising our wedding in Italy. Along with your team, Amore Weddings created our picture perfect day.
From our first meeting in 2005 to our Wedding date on the 6th of September 2007, your communication and knowledge was invaluable.
Santa Maria di Castellabate is a beautiful location which we would never have found without you and our guests just loved the quaint little village. The close proximityof all the hotels and restaurants really helped everybody to join up over the week and enjoy their Italian holiday.
Our guests have vowed to return and my Dad stayed on in Santa Maria for an extra week after the wedding because he liked it so much! The casual way of life in Italy gave us all time to relax before the big day and savour the local food and wine.
When I saw the church and the reception I was beaming with a smile from ear to ear. From the flowers in the church to the lanterns hanging from trees with cream satin ribbon and tealights sparkling like stars at night - it was everything a girl could wish for on her special day and the perfect groom helps also!
All our guests commented on the photographers and how fun and attentive they were.
We are delighted with our wedding album and are so happy we decided to order the DVD.

 “First things first, everything was fantastic from the moment we were collected in Naples Airport till the following week when we left. All the transport organised worked out great, with all the transfers to and from the airport and to and from the reception running like clockwork.
On the day of the wedding, it was a glorious day. Tonino did a great job on everyone's hair and we all looked great. As I walked up the aisle, with the organ playing, it was just wonderful. Don Andrea is so nice, he was so welcoming and made the service very personal and special.
The choir were really excellent and it made the service even more special. The flowers were gorgeous and the florist even gave us an extra arrangement in the church and gave all the guests confetti free of charge.
Massimo took some great photos and we were really impressed that he worked so hard to ensure we got the photos before we left. Everyone who's seen them so far thinks they are amazing.
Needless to say the hotel was excellent. Alfonso had arranged for us all to be upgraded to suites which was a real treat. Everyone was so impressed with the setting alone before they had even had anything to eat. The table settings were beautiful and everyone loved their lemon leafs and personalised menus. The food and wine were excellent and the wedding cake was gorgeous. The staff were excellent throughout the reception and were very attentive.
The dj was brilliant and played all the songs on the list we provided. The staff all came out and lined up to watch Riverdance. Needless to say it was a great night so much so we had a battle trying to get people to leave on the buses at 3am!
The following evening in Donna Stellas lemon garden was brilliant. Everyone was very impressed with the setting and the food again was excellent. We had three courses, the first was a selection of starters, the second the pasta and the pizzas followed. With again lots more limoncello it was a perfect way to end our perfect week in Italy.
Thanks again for organising everything and a big thanks to Raf. It was much better than we ever imagined and we will be back in Amalfi next year for our first anniversary.

A huge thank you for making our wedding such a fantastic & special occasion. We got married last July in Praiano and everything from the minute we arrived in Italy was perfect. When we first contacted Lisa she asked us what we dreamed our wedding would be like and we told her we wanted a small intimate venue where all our guests would be together in a small quiet, authentic village.
Praiano gave us exactly that. Around 65 guests travelled to our wedding and everyone loved it. We spend most of our days relaxing by the pool with our family and friends and we had dinner in each of the gorgeous restaurants each night. By the time the wedding day arrived the whole village knew us! The day itself was amazing.

Just a little note to say a big thank you for all your help organizing our wedding. The church in Positano was so pretty and old. Really beautiful place . The photographer was excellent, he even had our album ready three days after the wedding. The hotel in Sorrento was absolutely fabulous and I could not fault it in anyway. The band was brilliant so lively and really got the guests going. It was a truly fantastic day in an absolutely wonderful location. We wouldn't do anything different if we had the time over again.
Without your help and advice our wedding day wouldn't have turned out to be as special as it was and we both thank you sincerely for that.

“Dear Lisa & Amore Weddings
 I have sat down so many times at my computer this week to write you a small letter of thanks but each time the words do not seem enough to justify all that you have done for us. Our wedding in the Furore was a fairytale come true. The whole day could not have gone better and I have you to thank for that.
Toniono the hairdresser and Andrea the make up artist came to the room and we had great fun getting ready I was made to feel really special (by the way my hair was amazing and so was my make up even if I do say so myself) !!
Then the photographer came to the room and we did some Irelands next top model shots (my friends from Ireland still can't believe that I got the photo album so soon before I left). We then walked across to the church which was so beautiful ,the flowers and the choir made it extra special there was not a dry eye in the house. After the ceremony with the lovely Fr John we went to take some Photos while the guests got to drink lots of champagne by the pool.
Needless to say the food and wine were spectacular. The staff at the Hotel (Alfonso, Tania and Stephano) couldn't have treated myself, colin or our guests any better. I could go on and on about the band, Dj, wedding cake, childrens entertainer etc they were all fantastic.
Just one more thing Raffaele is an amazing guy, nothing that we asked of him was too much.
Thank you again lisa so much for pointing us in the right direction, I have to say that it was the best decision that we have ever made in our lives (even my father in law was speechless and that is a feat in itself). To anyone that is considering an Italian wedding I would say go for it you will not regret it, JUST MAKE SURE TO CALL LISA CROTTY FOR A STRESS FREE AND ENJOYABLE DREAM WEDDING.
P.S. Do you do renewal of vows ?? (Any excuse to go back!!! Maybe in 20 years)”

“Hey Lisa:
 Just a quick note thanking you for helping us with our beautiful day. It all turned out so brilliantly we were extremely happy. Obviously with just having our baby daughter three weeks earlier to the day we were slightly anxious that all might not turn out ok but it all went better then planned.
Angela the onsite coordinator was a gem and so polite and organized. The whole day was so relaxed and flowed just as we had hoped. It started with drinks in the square before the church a beautiful ceremony, the guitar and mandolin leading us to the villa were hilarious and the happiest people I have ever seen. Our guests were very impressed with the amazing view from the villa.
The reception was extremely sociable with the band playing Rat Pack and Stevie Wonder through the dinner with people dancing between courses, the DJ was excellent and the staff, table settings, flowers, food and venue were better then we imagined.
Everyone had a brilliant time. It was the most laid back relaxed wedding. Only shame was it went so fast and is all a blur now, hopefully the DVD and photos will rejig the memory!
Thanks for organizing everything and Angela was great. Can't believe it all worked out so well. Really appreciate it.”

 We cannot thank Lisa enough for doing such an amazing job organizing our wedding. The location, Santa Maria was perfect.
Massimo took some great photos and we were really impressed that he worked so hard to ensure we got the photos before we left. Everyone who's seen them so far thinks they are amazing.
Santa Maria is so beautiful, everyone loved it there. Everything all week was perfect, we would not change a thing! Our pre-wedding party on the Wednesday night was so successful that the locals thought that was the wedding. The venue on the beach was really lovely, we had a great session that night!
As for the wedding venue itself, the Palazzo, it was so beautiful, just perfect.
Everything about our wedding day was amazing. The flowers, church and music were just beautiful. The photographers were great fun and went down well with the singles girls. They did an amazing job with the photos, I have never seen photos so beautiful.
As for the Palazzo it was decorated beautifully, like something out of a film! The jazz band were so brilliant, I never enjoyed music so much. They sang all my favorite songs so well. They were excellent. As for the food and the cake well it was all delicious.
The Djs were great fun they played well into the early hours. Our friends organized fireworks for us on the night, how they kept it a secret is amazing! We were very surprised.
It was the best day and week of our lives. All our guests said the same, everyone thanked us for choosing Italy and especially for choosing Santa Maria. Everyone has vowed to return one day to Santa Maria, maybe for the first anniversary!!
Thank you Lisa for everything, you really did an amazing job.
Thank you for listening to me when I had my one and only panic attack!! You really understood what I wanted right down to my flowers and table settings!! You gave us our dream wedding and for that we will always be grateful.

 To say that the wedding/ venue/ reception/ level of service/ photographs was all that we imagined and more is an understatement. We had a fantastic week and all our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The hotel was better than we envisaged with all it's quirky, character filled rooms. Our suite was stunning and as for the views- you wouldn't see them on a postcard! Giovanni and the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.
As for Raf- what can I say? He was so conscientious and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. I'm sure he even fixed it to ensure the rain held off!
Overall, we were extremely happy with how you organized the wedding. We didn't feel any stress and even my mother said at one point that she couldn't believe how relaxed I was. It was easy to stay relaxed because we trusted the standard of service that we were to receive.

 We are about coming back down to earth now after the fantastic wedding in Maratea. We would first like to say thank you to you for your complete professionalism from start to finish, we are delighted that we worked with you and will without hesitation recommend you to anyone who is getting married in Italy. You really made everything very easy for us.
The flowers in the church were gorgeous and the church itself was
lovely and the location perfect. The photographers were perfect
for us, they listened to what we wanted and worked very hard on
the day and we are delighted with the results. As for the Hotel,
words fail to describe it, the setting was spectacular and the service
and food beyond compare, our guests are still and will be talking
about it for quite a while.
Everyone loved the cake too and we are
glad there was no desert...where would we have fitted it! In particular
the service was top class, so discreet and efficient. In addition,
the jazz band you arranged were excellent and we would go to see
them again. It was a great day for us, better than we could ever
have dreamed off, we will never forget it.
