The Coast of Maratea – Basilicata Region, Italy.

Just 100km south of Naples is a region largely unknown and often referred to as Italy’s last hideaway - The Cilento Coast and the Coast of Maratea. The region boasts the second largest national park in Italy, delicious cuisine, the sea and sandy beaches and splendid panoramic views. It is another Italian jewel.

The closest airport is Naples, then Rome but high speed trains will get you to this location in approximately 80 minutes. The Cilento Region is 1.5 hours drive from Naples and The Coast of Maratea is about 2.5 hours drive.
